Dave & Buster’s is temporarily changing its name to Doom & Buster’s as part of a nationwide promotion celebrating Marvel Studios’ upcoming film Avengers: Doomsday. The arcade chain announced the campaign on November 4, with participating locations set to add Marvel-themed games, merchandise, prizes and drinks.
The rollout begins this week, ahead of the full launch on November 16. The promotion is scheduled to run through January 31, 2027, and includes dedicated Doomsday Zones with themed entrances, signage and interactive attractions.
Among the games arriving from November 4 are MARVEL Cosmic Invasion, a four-player beat ’em up in which players choose two superheroes and switch between their abilities, and Avengers: Roller Race & Battle, where guests race while taking on a villain. Other attractions include Thor’s Hammer Strike, Human Crane, Mystery Crane, Smash N Win, an Avengers photo booth and an Avengers Funko prize machine.
The campaign will also feature limited-time Avengers-inspired cotton candy, merchandise and collectible Power Cards featuring characters including Thor, Doctor Doom and Yelena.
Five themed drinks will be available from November 16 through January 31: three cocktails and two alcohol-free options. The cocktails include Doomsday’s Dominion, the Multiversal Mule and Fantastic Flight, a set of four miniature drinks inspired by Marvel superheroes. The mocktails are Panther’s Potion and Captain Punch.
D&B Rewards members will also be able to take part in DOOMHOUR, which offers double tickets on green-swipe games during randomly selected one-hour periods. Members will receive an app notification 24 hours before the next event, followed by another message on the day announcing its exact time.
Avengers: Doomsday is scheduled to arrive in theaters on December 18.
