GTA 6 has reportedly generated an estimated $751 million from digital pre-orders ahead of its November release. Analytics firm Sensor Tower puts the total at approximately 7.71 million copies across PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, with pre-order revenue increasing by more than $100 million over the past two weeks, according to its estimates.

PlayStation accounts for an estimated 74% of pre-orders, compared with 26% for Xbox. That represents around 5.74 million copies and $559 million in revenue on PS5, and approximately 1.97 million copies and $192 million on Xbox Series X|S.

The figures are unofficial estimates, not sales data released by Rockstar or its parent company, Take-Two Interactive. They also cover digital pre-orders only and exclude physical copies.

For comparison, Take-Two reported that GTA 5 generated more than $800 million in worldwide sales during its first 24 hours after launching in September 2013, then passed $1 billion in three days. The figures are not directly comparable: Sensor Tower’s estimate covers GTA 6 digital pre-orders before launch, while Take-Two’s numbers refer to GTA 5 sales after release.

GTA 6 is scheduled to launch on November 19, 2026, for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Preloading is set to begin on November 10.
