The Jordan Esports Federation (JEF) has signed a memorandum of understanding with King Hussein Business Park (KHBP) to provide a framework for hosting more esports events at the Amman site, where the federation is based. KHBP announced the agreement on Sunday. JEF President Prince Omar bin Faisal attended the signing.
Under the MoU, the organisations will jointly host and organise specialist competitions at the business park and welcome international delegations and official guests attending those events. They also plan to work together on media and marketing, explore shared education, training and community initiatives, and exchange expertise.
The agreement formalises an existing connection between JEF and KHBP. The federation’s activities at the park include work at THE ARC, an arena and gaming dome that has hosted events such as the Arab Esports League, a Women’s Esports Championship and Red Bull Login. THE ARC also operates as an incubation centre supported by JEF and the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, and runs training camps for players seeking to go professional.
KHBP CEO Ammar Ezzeddin said the partnership supports the park’s ambition to foster innovation and technology, and to host events that showcase Jordanian talent. JEF Vice President Hazem Bawab said the collaboration aims to raise the standard of competitions and activities, develop young talent and encourage wider participation in the esports industry.
The parties have not disclosed the financial terms or duration of the agreement.
