Kraft Mac & Cheese has announced a limited-time Cinnamon Roll flavor, combining its familiar cheesy pasta with the warm spice associated with the popular pastry.
The company unveiled the product on November 2 alongside Chili Crisp Mac & Cheese. Kraft said the new combinations reflect changing consumer preferences, citing internal findings that more than 60% of its fans are interested in trying flavors beyond traditional mac and cheese.
The Cinnamon Roll version mixes cinnamon with Kraft’s cheese sauce to create what the company describes as a creamy, slightly tangy taste. The product is designed around a sweet-and-savory combination inspired by a seasonal fall pastry.
Kraft also said the release was influenced by cinnamon’s growing popularity as a seasonal flavor, claiming it has overtaken pumpkin spice in consumer preferences in recent years.
Cinnamon Roll Mac & Cheese will be sold exclusively at Walmart for a limited time. Kraft has not announced how long the product will remain available or revealed its price.
The separate Chili Crisp variety combines Kraft’s traditional cheese sauce with the spicy condiment. According to the company, chili crisp has grown by 923% on US restaurant menus over the past four years. This flavor will be available for a limited time at Meijer, Walmart, and Amazon.
