Magic: The Gathering has inspired a new range of beef sticks from Mythical Meats, a company known for fantasy-themed snacks such as dragon jerky and other exotic meats. The lineup includes 15 flavors based on the game’s five basic land types and the ten guilds of Ravnica.
The five land-inspired varieties are Original for Plains, Teriyaki for Island, Peppered for Swamp, Habanero for Mountain, and Garlic Parmesan for Forest. The Ravnica selection includes Apple Cheddar for Azorius, Landjaeger for Orzhov, Chipotle Lime for Boros, Honey Brown Sugar for Selesnya, and Bloody Mary for Dimir.
The remaining guild flavors are Sriracha Honey for Izzet, Spicy Jerk for Simic, Smoky Cherry for Rakdos, Mango Jalapeño for Gruul, and Spicy Dill Pickle for Golgari. All 15 products are made with beef, unlike Mythical Meats’ Dungeons & Dragons range, which has included meats such as yak, alligator, and camel.
The collaboration also adopts the random-selection format associated with Magic booster packs. A $30 variety pack contains ten randomly chosen sticks, and customers are not guaranteed specific flavors or a complete set of the ten guild varieties.
Individual sticks start at $3.50 for shoppers who prefer to choose their flavors directly. Mythical Meats also sells a $15 Lands variety pack that guarantees all five basic land-inspired options.
This is not Magic: The Gathering’s first food-related promotion. In 2023, the game partnered with IHOP in a campaign that offered rewards in MTG Arena.
