McDonald’s has introduced a new $8 meal deal featuring its Quarter Pounder with Cheese, giving customers a discounted way to order one of the chain’s best-known burgers. The promotion begins November 2, 2026, at participating restaurants across the United States.

The offer includes a Quarter Pounder with Cheese, medium fries and a medium soft drink. The meal normally costs more than $11, although the final price varies by location. The burger comes with a quarter-pound beef patty, slivered onions, pickles and two slices of American cheese on a sesame seed bun.

Participation and pricing may differ between restaurants, and the promotional price is not available through delivery orders. McDonald’s has not provided a specific end date, describing the $8 meal as a limited-time offer.

The promotion expands McDonald’s value-focused menu options across breakfast, lunch and dinner. It follows the return of the company’s Extra Value Meals in September 2025, which included discounted combinations such as an $8 Big Mac meal and a $5 Sausage McMuffin with Egg meal. At the time, McDonald’s said those meals could save customers approximately 15% compared with buying the items separately.

The Quarter Pounder deal was announced alongside the company’s first reservation-only Chef’s Table event, Inside the Golden Arches, held in Brooklyn, New York, on October 29. Hosted by Top Chef Season 22 winner Tristen Epps-Long, the event offered attendees a behind-the-scenes look at the preparation of menu items including the Quarter Pounder with Cheese, Chicken McNuggets and Egg McMuffin.
